Our Mission:
The Electric Company Theatre is a non-profit 501(c)3 community benefit organization that produces (electrifying) world-class theater for the Orange County and Los Angeles communities. We strive to provide intimate theater experiences of the highest quality, while celebrating our local histories and communities. We pursue dialogue with our community in a variety of languages, theatrical forms, and performance venues in hopes to create change. We create future artists and arts patrons through innovative programs for youth.

Our newest experience is called “We Pick Three.”
We Pick Three is an opportunity for us to curate three storytellers in an intimate setting where you can experience their music and hear about their craft. You won't find out which artists are playing until you get there, so come with an open mind. You may even discover your new favorite artist!

Change preconceived notions of the live theatre experience. We inspire people to participate in live theater, regardless of language or financial barriers.
Connect audiences in discussing new ideas and experiencing new forms of art. We believe in taking risks. We celebrate and promote the intellectual curiosity of our community, and believe that theater can be an important tool to help people build empathy and create change in our world.
Craft excellent communal art. We view “craft” as both a verb and a noun: We craft theatrical experiences, and we constantly hone our craft.
