1. Use a shareable online presentation format. Your pitch must be submitted as a browser-based, shareable link such as Google Slides or Canva. The link must open without requiring sign-in and be set so anyone with the link can view.

2. Keep it positive! This is NOT a roast. This event is to promote friends in a positive and fun way with the goal of helping them make a new connection!

3. Keep it Clean. Please refrain from including nudity or inappropriate imagery.

4. Keep it about them! Presentations are meant to be about the friends being pitched, not the presenters.

5. Keep it between 3-5 minutes! Be imaginative, but aim to keep your "pitch" under 5 minutes. WE WILL CUT YOU OFF (SO PRACTICE). We recommend clearly stating the individual's preferred pronouns, sexual orientation, and age in the pitch.

6. Friend must be informed, consent, and be in attendance. The friend you are pitching must attend the event as well. They must also be aware, and consent, to being pitched.

7. Make sure your last slide has the required information. The final slide should feature a picture of the person along with their contact information (Instagram, phone number, etc.). This slide will remain displayed between pitches and will also be put on autoplay with the rest of the featured singles during the mingling portion of the event.

8. Notify us about changes in plans. We understand that things come up, and sometimes plans change. Since spots are limited for each event, we appreciate you letting us know as soon as possible if you need to cancel. This allows us to open your spot for another single to participate and give them enough time to prepare. Please be sure to review the city-specific refund policy for details on eligibility and timing for refunds.

9. Purchase your tickets for the event. Once you are selected, you will need to buy a ticket to the ECT performance that evening. This will demonstrate you are serious about coming to the event and pitching your friend. You will be sent a code for a COMPLIMENTARY ticket for your friend
