Kathryn D'Costa is a 16-year-old singer-songwriter from SoCal. When it comes to music, she's been doing it since she could even remember. She's been singing since she was 3 and playing guitar and writing songs since she was 7. The pivotal moment for her was when she had reached her lowest and the only thing that got her through it was writing songs and performing them, that is when she knew she was made for this. She has been traveling all over Southern California to show everyone who she is and present her music that best encapsulates her identity. She blends indie-pop with intense lyricism in hopes of showcasing her authenticity and making sure listeners know that everything will be okay. She wants to make people happy by doing what makes her happy. She aspires to make her dreams of breaking into the mainstream music industry a reality by being her true self; authentic, determined, passionate, and dedicated.

    Joshua Solis

    SEND JOSHUA A TIP: https://linktr.ee/jsmusician

SoCal native Josh Solis has been writing music since the age of 14. Originally a drummer, he grew an affinity for singing and writing his own songs in his early high school years. As a self taught guitarist, bassist, and pianist, Josh prefers to write and record all musical parts himself. Whether it’s about falling in love, heartbreak, or how it feels to grow up in the 2000s, Josh’s music has relatable themes for everyone. With major influences from The Strokes, The Killers, and Oasis, his sound stretches from loud, upbeat alternative rock, all the way down to a stripped softer acoustic side. His newest track, “Midnight Sun” is able to showcase his genre diversity. While the electric version has catchy synth lines, live drums, and wailing guitars, the acoustic version takes a reimagined and more intimate approach. Josh continues to write and record more music for his debut album while perfecting his live show in the Southern California scene.

    Porque Sí

SEND PORQUE SI A TIP: porquesi@linkpop

After spending the late 1990’s playing rhythm guitar for a touring Reggae band, “Porque Sí” Danny Santacruz began his own music career in earnest in 2004. Armed with just an acoustic guitar and his vocals, Porque Sí played bars, clubs, and private events throughout Southern California. The consistent stream of shows, highlighted by a mix of original songs and unexpected acoustic renditions of hip-hop classics, gained the attention of jazz pianist/composer Daniel Nielsen and Grammy-winning producer Seth Atkins Horan. In 2007, the trio recorded Porque Sí’s original album “Vicarious” at Draco Rosa’s Phantom Vox Studios in Los Angeles.

That same year, Porque Sí joined the Reggae band Sure Shot Rockers. As a songwriter and vocalist, he released four studio albums, including tracks with genre legends The Wailing Souls, Michigan & Smiley, Nadine Sutherland, and a remix single with pop star Selena Gomez.

By 2016, Porque Sí slipped right back into his signature “gangsta-coustic” style. Since then, he averages more than 150 shows a year, holding multiple residencies across venues throughout California. Whether it’s solo, as part of the duo Rafa & Porque Sí, or fronting his current Reggae band Herb Daily, audiences love Porque Sí’s take on the classics as well as his original songs.

    RMB

    SEND RMB A TIP: https://linktr.ee/wearermb

We are RMB, three friends Rocking Mostly Blues. Our latest song Nowheresville is out now, please stream on your favorite platform. Merch page on our link tree will be available should anyone want to support us that way as well.

Randell (Vocals, Guitar) Jose (Bass) Soto (Drums)

In 2015 Randell performed at an Open Mic and I (Jose) had my first listen. We spoke for a bit and agreed to jam at my house that night. Weeks later we sought a drummer and by the same luck Soto agreed to join and our journey began.

Our first years were full of backyard gigs and dive bars, the experience led to the creation of our first album, Sober Soul (2017).

Soon after Christmas In LA (2017), our one off holiday single, was a fun way to expand our budding identity.

Out of nowhere, a rehearsal take of Dayman from It’s Always Sunny went Viral on Facebook. So we released a studio version of Dayman (2018) mostly for laughs but we couldn’t have foreseen the 5M+ views and listens across platforms. Truly a surprise for us.

Even with this spotlight, we weren’t ready to travel with our music yet but we gained the appetite for it.

Shows continued and memories made. Our eagerness led us to explore with more grooves and rhythms. Even when limited from performing live, RMB released This Can’t Be Good (2021) as the second round of songs in our catalog.

Although covers aren’t really our habit, playing Bare Necessities (2023) live felt warranted as the universal lyrics paired well with the earnestness of Blues.

RMB is currently developing our latest originals for the recording studio, as well as bringing our energetic live shows to more cities.
